Getting started

What can I follow?

College Football, NFL, MLS, Premier League, and Champions League. Choose a sport from the league selector at the top of the app. The TV Matrix is available for College Football.

Where can I use Sportscaster?

Sportscaster is built for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Find supported devices and operating-system requirements on our App Store page.

Do I need an account?

No Sportscaster account is needed. Your favorites, pins, viewing preferences, and learned league interests are saved on your device and sync across iPhone, iPad, and Mac when you’re signed into the same iCloud account. Sync may take time; the app keeps working locally when iCloud is unavailable.

Watching & listening

Does Sportscaster stream the games?

Sportscaster helps you find the broadcast. A Watch link opens the listed provider; the app does not stream video or include a TV subscription. Access, sign-in, and regional availability are controlled by that provider.

What does Listen do?

When a radio broadcast is available, Listen opens the supplied provider’s app or website. Some games offer a choice of broadcasts. A provider may require a subscription or sign-in.

Why is there no broadcast listed?

A listing may not have been announced or supplied by our data source. We show the information we have; an unavailable listing does not necessarily mean the game isn’t being broadcast.

Your game day

How do I make the slate my own?

Choose favorite teams and hate watches for each league. For You uses those preferences and the live game state to bring relevant games forward. You can also switch to Favorites, Hate Watches, Live Now, or All Games, and pin an individual game.

What are One Possession and Sickos Only?

One Possession helps you find close football games. Sickos Only brings forward college-football games classified as unusually messy or eventful. These views depend on the current game data, so they may be empty.

How does the TV Matrix work?

In College Football, choose TV Matrix beside Games. It lays out the remaining weekend’s games by kickoff time and listed network, using your local time. Game lengths are estimates, and live games can run long. On Mac, you can also use Shift-Command-M.

How do I see more than the score?

Tap or click a game card to turn it over. Available details depend on the league and game status; football cards can include scoring by quarter, field position, the last play, and the current drive.

What happens when I share a game?

Share creates a public link to a snapshot of the game information at that moment. Anyone with the link can open it. It’s a captured moment rather than a continuously updating live scoreboard.

Scores & troubleshooting

A score or game detail looks wrong. What should I do?

Check your connection and the update time, then refresh the slate. Sports data and broadcast listings can be delayed or corrected by their sources. If an issue persists, email us with the league, matchup, and approximate time.

Will alerts arrive when the app is closed?

Current alerts are generated on your device from refreshed game data. They do not provide a closed-app push service. Check notification permissions in your device’s settings if alerts are not appearing while you use the app.

How do I switch to dark mode?

Sportscaster follows your device’s appearance setting. Change between light and dark in your device’s system settings; the app follows along.
